Welcome Message

Dear friends,

We would be very happy to invite you hereby to the international conference with the title "EURO in New Member Countries of European Union" and to the festive evening, which will take place on 28th March 2009.

Based on a joint inspiration of a few friends from different Rotary Clubs of Prague, an idea was born approximately one year ago to organise a conference concerning adoption of European currency and to combine this conference with a festive evening of the Rotary Club, which would link to pre-war and shortly post-war tradition of festive Rotary Balls in Prague.

The Conference with the festive evening will become a part of celebrations of ten years of existence of the independent Rotary International District for the Czech Republic and for the Slovak Republic. The conference will take place in the conference room of the Czech National Bank, with attendance of the most reputable experts in this field. The festive evening of Rotarians and their guests will be held on premises of the Municipal House of Prague.

The conference is intended not only to all Rotarians, but also to experts from among economists, entrepreneurs, and banking sector. Invitation is aimed also to you, Rotarian friends - even if you are not interested in the topic of the conference at all.
